This trip covered very important sites and locations. That said, I believe the schedule was too tightly packed. There was no down time from the first day. Some tours, such as the Vatican proper was not allowed enough time, only one hour. Fortunately, I had been there before and had a very extensive tour. Though no one could control the heat, some accommodations could have been made as to the amount of walking. Most of us spent days dehydrated. We rarely had time to relax before dinner. Except for the first and last dinners, time for our meal wasn’t the lengthy, relaxed event Italian meals are known for.

Wonderful local tour guide, Illharie, and bus driver, Andy. Too many sights to see each day, would prefer less sights and more time to spend at what we did see.

We enjoyed this peaceful and spiritual pilgrimage. The accommodations were very nice, first class. Having a priest with our group made the trip deeply spiritual. I would highly recommend this trip.
